The medical care on Saba is supplied by the Saba Cares Foundation in The Bottom.
We offer 24/7 emergency service with our ER and ambulances. Our Clinic has a team of Island Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurses to tend to our patients.
Next to our Island Physicians, visiting specialists and paramedics have monthly or bimonthly clinics at our medical center.
The Home Health team delivers nursing care to our community in their own homes.
Our admission ward allows us to admit patients who need hospitalized care and our facility is fitted with radiology and ultrasound.
We have our own laboratory where seventy percent of tests are completed on island, the others are sent out and completed off island at St. Maarten Laboratory Services.
‘The Home’, is a care institution for elderly, disabled or otherwise challenged people on the island of Saba.

What does the position entail?
Are you a team player who is able to work very well independently? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to empathize and build relationships with patients/clients, their families and healthcare professionals?
Then we are looking for you to join our Home Health team. In this position you will be providing nursing care, coordinating daily care tasks, team activities and plan of care for assigned patients/clients, while utilizing the nursing process, in order to provide optimal care.
An experienced and licensed RN with a high sense of responsibility and integrity. Excellent communication skills, a strong customer service attitude, and the ability to empathize and build relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
RN diploma is required, as is an excellent command of written and verbal English.
What we offer
The initial appointment is for a period of one year with the possibility to extend. You will work on a full-time basis; 40hrs per week.

The salary is conform the salary implementation regulation of FWG Salarisstructuur Health Care Caribisch Nederland BES and has been placed in FWG scale 40; monthly gross min $2209 - max $2987, based on experience.
